Upgrading Wordpress...Automatic??

    I have wordpress 2.1.3 installed, and recently saw that the new version 2.2 was released.
    Is there an easy way to upgrade the version?...a plugin that works..maybe..
    Thanks for the help.

    The only auto method I know is using Fantastico..

    First, you got to use fantastico to setup your blog...
    Whenever there is an update, simply click "Update" in Fantastico...

    hmm..strange, that my Fantastico still shows wordpress 2.1.3...when they have already released 2.2. :confused:

    Who is responsible for updating fanatastico? is it the webhost?
    if so..I will have to send an email to ASO.:rolleyes:

    Yep, some ISPs are just plain lazy don't ya think? Usually I just upgrade manually, at least any custom coding gets preserved that way :)

    I believe it's the webhost's responsibility...
    Did ASO reply?

    If you custom coding is limited to the theme, then the auto upgrade will not affect anything. But, pay attention to the plugins.. some may not work with the new version...
