Upgrading Wordpress 2.6.2 to Wordpress 2.9.1

    Hi guys, I need help upgrading my old wordpress 2.6.2 to latest wordpress 2.9.1, I have checked on the net but the info a bit confusing..

    Could you guys help give a link to good wordpress upgrade steps? Thanks..

    very simple

    just take backup of your posts by exporting your post to your desktop and then either automatically upgrade by clicking the update link present in the Wp admin or by manually installing the new script in the same location and removing the old script - and when you are done with the new installation - just import the file you have just exported this will install all your posts and comments and every thing related to your blog posts -

    dont forget to take backup of your theme and do note the plugins available.
