Upgrading WHM Reseller to WHM Master Reseller in WHMRELLER

Discussion in 'Site & Server Administration' started by mfwl, Jul 31, 2008.

I have a client that has WHMReseller v3

They have created a Reseller using that.

I wish by using root access to upgrade that reseller to a Master Reseller in its own rights.

But I can't see it in the normal list or the reseller center or the root admin of whmreseller v3.

How do I give master reseller rights to this reseller that one of my master resellers has created.

    (If all this makes sense?)

    Regards

    Matt

I answered this question myself after hunting around!

On WHMReseller there is a box at the bottom to insert/move resellers. All of them are listed here and you can make them standard or assign them to the Master Reseller that created them.

After this they have Master Reseller Rights!

Just incase anyone else had the same problems!

Are you sure that they have master reseller rights, as the insert move is just to move resellers into different masters or make them stand alone but it does not give them master reseller rights.. that you have to do in the grant master reseller rights

Yes sorry I forgot to say, they werent appearing in the drop down box to grant reseller rights until after I had made them stand alone or of the originating source. After this they appeared and I could grant them master rights.

Sorry to trouble you, didnt know who else to ask!

Are you having much problem with fraud and paypal by clients applying chargebacks from credit cards?

Have you ever had funds have temporary holds applied?

If I may, yes to the first one. Have yet to see the second one yet. We loose every time with the Credit Cards, nothing you can do :( - it's out of PayPal's hands, then they bill you $10 because you got scammed.
