Upgrading to Wordpress 2.5

I was wondering what I'd need to do if upgrading from 2.3 to 2.5? All the default files are the same so I'm not sure which ones (if any) I've modified when I've made changes to the settings. thanks

There's actually an automatic upgrade tool available that works great. It even re paginates your database for upgraded file structure.

Generally most of the files that have been changed will be changes to files in the actual theme and plugins folder.. and not the core files of WP.. Therefore just upgrade all the main core files and keep your same running theme, in themes folder and running plugins in the plugins folder and things will work out real well. Also keep your uploads folder and same wp-config.php file.

Nope, but the icon to add photo is near the middle, a little unused to it at the moment but now I am quite familiar with WP 2.5. It really is much cooler than the last.

No problem with insert/edit image indeed (but images must already be online)

I do have problems with the new "Add media" feature. I can upload and that's it. I do have this problem even with the basic kubrick theme

Another problem. When I do write a new post I can only have the visual mode. I can't get the html mode

No time to lose with bugs :(

Your install doesn't default with the HTML editor enabled?

    I don't like 2.5 at all, I wish I had stayed with 2.3. :(

I guess it is the visual mode

Problems with pictures anyway. I miss the old successful process (upload then send to editor process)

    edit : I found a solution = http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=7420279

I have too much plugin with my WP so I am not sure if I want to update. Some plug may not be compatible.
