Hi all I have a verified personal account but as we know one can receive only 5 credit card payments with personal account so I plan to upgrade my account to premier account. I wanted to know couple of questions -- what are the charges to upgrade the account to premier? -- will I have to submit some document proofs when I upgrade my account? -- if their are no extra charges then why do we have concept of personal accounts? I see that premier accounts deduct less charges. Then why would people stay with personal accounts? Do you think I need to know something else when I upgrade to premier account? thanks
1)- Upgrade to Premier account is free of cost 2)- You don't need to submit any more documents if you have already verified your address, phone, Credit Card and Bank account unless you are going with business account. 3)- Personal accounts are for people who want to shop online or to accept payments from Friends and Family whereas Premier or Business accounts are for people who sell online. You can't accept payments for sales, services etc with a Personal account and if you are doing so you didn't read PayPal's TOS well. 4)- I don't think there is anything else you would know before upgrading your account.
upgrating is cost free.. after upgrating to premiur account you will have to pay charge even for paypal to paypal payment recieve..
