Upgrading PayPal Account

    • Upgrading Paypal Personal to premier account have any fee and how much per transication will they cut?
    • Does both work in the same way

    No fees for upgrading Paypal Personal to premier account.

    You can accept as many as CC funded payment to your premier account.

    Before few days,i have received few payments from credit card and paypal asked me to upgrade from personal to premier account!
    I was afraid to upgrade to premier!
    Now i am ok to switch to premier account after listening to your suggestion!

    Paypal charge some fee when you receive payment if you are premium account but no charge on personal account.

    So better not to switch to premier account as i don't want paypal to charge fee for receiving payments!

    But that way you can only accept payments from paypal accounts which has balance in it (not funded from CC) as only 5 payments from credit card allowed in personal accounts.

    no fees for upgrade,but you get fees if you receive payments. That's how paypal run their business..

    If you deal a lot with payPal transactions and you have clients paying via Credit cards,then its imp to upgrade the account..
    You cant run a long way with personal account bro.. :D

    For premier account holders, paypal charges a bit extra for each transaction done through it..

    If you do not plan to use your Paypal account very much and can easily convince your customers to pay you only through their cash balances, there is no need to upgrade to Premier and incur additional transaction fees.

    Personal accounts are not for accpeting business payments. If you want to accept website payments, you should use premier or business account. Premioer account is the best if you do not have a bank account under the name of your business or company.

    I think personal account is good if your buyers are giving direct payments. If you accept payments through CC then you should upgrade it to premier.

    I believe it is impossible to have that premier facility without a credit card to attached,so be ware,that is impossible
