The latest videocard from ATI, at least 2 gigs of ram and a dual core processor would surely be a best buy specially if you plan to do some gaming.
Are you upgrading or going whole new parts? If your upgrading we need to know if your machine is amd or intel based. Regards
im gutting my whole computer..all that will be left is the case,power supply,1 gig corsair ram,and sound card..im looking to buy a new MOBO,processor and video card..ive been on newegg looking but alot of the mobo's are not getting great reviews

nice..thanks for the heads up..i was looking at the ASUS CROSSHAIR AM2 NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI MCP ATX AMD Motherboard - from new egg,but alot of pl gave it bad reviews claiming it was DOA and that there are RAM issues for some reasons..
I'm not fond of nForce 5 at the moment cause it doesn't has many differences from 4 and besides I still have some IDE hdds)) I work at Epox MF4-J3 Ultra and don't want to change it yet. I have enough from it To my mind it is not necessary to buy some extra expensive variant of MB. Most of their features are useless. I supppose you don't need six BIOSes on motherboard just in case for extra 100$))
