Hello. I have a Dedicated server as a Tower ( static Desktop kind...). I know It is not the best choice, but it's cheaper anyway. I am hosting game servers for now with 4 gig ram (800mhz) and Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 .
Now I have some money and a Core 2 Quad Q9300 already on my table.
I am no that technical and that's why I am posting here. I need you to help me choose between these choices:

    1. Leave my sistem the same ( E8200 )
    2. Switch to Q9300 and do not spend any money
    3. Buy Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 ( 2.83GHz, FSB1333, 12MB cache )
    4. Other option ?

Thing is that I need the money I got for myself too, so that is why I started to think about saving money somehow. Would the difference in performance bet slightly different with 9300 compared to 9550 ? (9300 has 6MB cache, but do I really need the cache ? Or maybe I need cache and don't need the GHz ? ).
If someone could explain me these things I would be really thankful.

And what about my RAM ? Maybe I should buy a new ram for me ? Or buy a better Hard drive ? I need the cheapest and best upgrade for now ( which would have the best effect for now... ) , because I will be buying a 1U server sometime soon ( in 6 to 12 months... ) anyway.

    My current specs:
    RAM : 4 GB, 800Mhz
    Processor: E8200 @ 2.66GHz (6MB Cache)
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 300 GB ( 7200 RPM )
    Motherboard: GIGABYTE P35-DS3P
