    I want to upgrade my EC2 instance from t2.micro to t2.large.

    But I have data and applications installed I do not want to lose.

    Anyone knows how this can be done?

    Amazon have support. any don't you ask them? They will most definitely send you to read their knowledgeable as they do not provide technical support unless you pay them, but still it is worth to try.
