I am looking for advice. I use dreamweaver on a normal basis for design and coding, and filezilla to upload the to the servers. I want to update my website using a mobile device like my ipad or iphone. I was wondering what was the best app or program to do this.
If your website is hosted on a server with cPanel (or any other hosting panel), you can use that built in HTML/File editor to make changes. Other than that, I recommend upgrading to a CMS if you want to make content changes on the go.
yes I use inmotionhosting so they have a cpanel with html editor. unfortunately when i use my phone to go to it I dont have the option of the html editor and a rep for the hosting service tells me my phone probably isnt compatible. I dont know much about cms though.
What exactly are you doing that it needs to be uploaded mobily? If you incorporate wordpress into your website you can post from your mobile phone to add content to your site, it really depends what are you doing.
