    Yes it happens. Because there is no connection between PR and SERP position. PR=backlinks. You can see many sites having PR0 on 1 #. And you can also see that having PR 5 or 6 but still listing after sites having PR 0.

    So for ranking high in SERP just place unique content, place meta tags well, and submit in social sites.

    I am also not caring for PR. Just need traffic and always trying for their conversion into business.

    I don't care for green bar value for my site. As my site and blog none of them has PR 0. My all efforts are for only traffic and business.
