Hey guys, I've reworked my original site: Earn Money to Blog and have added another as well (keeping the same theme). Please take a few minutes to review AdSense placement and let me know if you think it violates any TOS. http://www.earnmoneytoblog.com http://www.worksafefunnies.com Thanks!
the earnmoneytoblog.com on has good placement and good blending! it took me a bit to even find the ads
Great information on your site! I would more naturally say 'Earn Money With your blog' Earn money from your blog earn money by blogging I don't mean to nit pick, it is just that as a native speaker of english a title like this is a bit jarring, i was expecting the posts to be convoluted and cryptic, but they aren't at all. i'm adding your site to my favorites and plan to spend more time reading. Brad Jensen This line has no information in it but the post seems empty without it
By the way, I don't mean anything bad by mentioning the awkwardness of phrasing, quite the opposite. The information presented on your blog (I looked at the first one, about making money blogging) is very good, I am just hoping to help make it more accessible to some people. Brad Jensen This line was intended to be blank
I really appreciate your comments. I think you have an excellent point about the title and I wrestled with it a bit at first but decided to move forward. And your comments that followed your statement help cement my original feelings - no matter how crappy my design, or how odd the wording of my site title is -- content will always be king. Thanks again. (Note - WorkSafeFunnies has been taken down, sorry folks)
Ok, you really have my wheels turning now. Let's turn this into an English discussion. (And by the way, I'm not so hot at it, even though it's my native language) I did a search on: "Earn money to"... and I found one sample: "Earn money to surf the internet." "surf" being a verb is why that makes sense. So let's try some other examples with verbs. Earn money to run. Earn money to jump. Earn money to eat breakfast naked. Those all make sense (somewhat) because they have action after them. Now let's try nouns. Earn money to Internet. Earn money to New York. Earn money to Baseball. Obviously those make zero sense. Now let's look back at my sites name: Earn money to blog. I think the problem here is that "Blog" is like a noun and a verb. Noun: I have a blog. Verb: I blog daily. Ok, this thread totally went off the tracks but this was a lot of fun
Off topic already, but hey, i think ur blog site's pretty cool, i was thinking, maybe u can have a lil gradient background for ur blog, a plain white makes a site similar to others..
