dir.yahoo.com/ free? Did you even try to submit to these directories or just copy pasted from a list you saw somewhere?
PR is no longer a good way to judge the quality of a directory ever since Google gave most quality directories on the web a hand job from PR6-5 to PR4-0, except for a select few that must have kissed Google's ass. Also ALL new directories have fake PR from 301 redirect or from the work of the last owner of the domain. Judge by the age of the directory, how many backlinks it has, and it's content.
thats right the real deal is you getting a backlink that way google will bring your site toward page 1 that is what really matters you doing work for your sites, who care about their sites
