Update WordPress

    WP 4.0 version has been launched. Have you Updated the WordPress?

    I updated all my wordpress websites today and we feel the quick load and the new themes update looks great too

    It looks great, updated with no problems and all my plugins work.

    As with all updates - backup your database first.

    Actually it was not a major change so I doubt that websites would perform faster with it, nor will many people see any significant changes.

    One thing I like about the new WP is the video embedding options and you can now better structure such content. The flowing menu in the posts where you no longer have to scroll all the way up to use the Bold option for example is also pretty neat. Apart from that there a few other minor changes and that is it. The upgrade was fast and easy but (as with any other version upgrade) the people with badly coded themes/plugins might break their site when they perform it. Soooooo...yeah...always backup first ;)
