Contest Update to Logo and Thumbnail Images Contest - Instant PayPal Payment! $70

I am in need of an updated logo and a few easy thumbnail images, as outlined below.

I already have a logo and want to keep the dimensions and color scheme the same, but it is time to be more web2.0, as the current logo is a bit dated.

Here is the current logo:



I am looking for a more cutting edge, web 2.0 logo that can be used in place of the current logo.

Next, I need a few small buttons that look like iPhone app icons. Here is a image of some icons to give you an idea of the size I need and what I am looking for.



In total I need 7 small buttons. The button will go on a black background so please make the text in a white font so that it stands out.The text should go below the button and be easy to read, the text in the above image is to small and thin to see. Here are the buttons I need:

First a quick note to all. You do not need to re-copy my original logo - I am also looking for fresh new ideas.

Here is some direct feedback:

@gipanuhotko - Nice entry. I like the overall clean / web 2.0 look of your entry. I just have a few comments. 1) I am not sure what the green blob is on the phone? I think it is a version of an arrow? I would prefer to maybe see little squares that indicate apps or something more creative yet clearly defined. Also, I did not see any text below your icons and this needs to be a part of it per the contest details.

@lead2play - I appreciate your efforts but this simply too basic.

@Todd Duquette - I really like your icons, well done. Unfortunately the logo far to much like the original is not ideal as mostly it is a black - turned off phone. This is part of what I dont like about my original logo. The phone can be more on an angle so your not staring directly at the face of a blank screen, or maybe there is a way to show the phone as turned on with apps, etc.. something more to bring it to life.

@puttu - I like your concept but it feels a bit flat / 1 dimensional and the colors of the icons are too bright / all over the spectrum, should keep them blue or in line with the theme.

@gothicdead - your logo is for android not iphone - also the outline drawing of the shape of the phone is not specific to iphone looks like many other smart phones, but I appreciate your entry

@divineworld - I like your entry, well done. I like the apps / squares coming out of the phone, and I like your icons very much. However, as noted in the contest, the icons are for a black background and thus the text must be white. My other concern is with the font / style of the text. I feel it is hard to read the word iPhone as it is blue like the background, and I just feel a more web 2.0 style would be ideal.

First let me say that I appreciate the time and effort that everyone is putting into their entries! Here is more feedback:

@br0th3r' - thanks for trying but your logo is 99% text.. and then balloon with an arrow is not enough to make it stand out or interesting.

@gfxboy - your style looks more like windows icons rather than mac / iPhone. The logo is not bad, but I am looking for something more commercial, web2.0, sleek.

@zainadeel - Nice work. I like your concept. However, I feel there should be some color to the text, maybe white and blue, and also rather than a blank screen like the phone is off you can do a gradient color light blue fading to dark or something?
