Update on displaying Chitika Mini Malls alongside adsense

With the reference to this post http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=20403 I would like to give an update about this. Our friend Darren from Problogger had emailed google again regarding this matter, and google said that we can have Chitika Mini Malls alongside adsense as long as they are not set to be contextual. For me, this really a good news because with adsense smart pricing kicking, I really need other ads to display alongside adsense and Chitika Mini Mall have one of the highest payout pay per click.

 

thanks for the link - as I write in my review of it - mini malls have blown me away by their potential. I'm quite amazed by their click value and have noticed some improvementes in CTR in the last week. It's definately something to give a go.

 

working well for me too. CPC is 10x higher than adsense. Glad that you'd get a confirmation from google about this.

What are the highest paying Chitika keywords for non-contextual use? Any ideas?

 

According to the T&C, we are not allowed to change the codes..

 

Well I sent an e-mail to Google myself about this.. I plan to start adding some chikita ads to a site next week sometime.. But I prefer to have my own response on such issues in case any troubles arise. Citing someone else on a message board or blog doesn't make me nearly as comfortable as having my own correspondance, but it is good to hear.

I've sent both Adsense and Chitika mails. Insofar, Google has replied with green light for my site...

 

As far as I remeber the suggestion to alter the code so that it can be displayed along adsense came from chitika. I read this in one of the blogs

Yeah google said it was okay when I got my response back.. My only question now is to do with YPN. Some people were saying it is okay to put YPN on the same site but not same page as adsense, but it seems that Google does not allow ads that mimic adsense ads anywhere on the same site as their ads. This would mean YPN is out on the same site as adsense. Anyone care to straighten me out on this?
