I need to change one of my accounts' login email address and password. Sounds simple huh?

    Here's the answer. But...

    I go to this URL:

    https://adwords.google.co.uk/select/EditUserPreferences
    Code (markup):
    Error! That link isn't there!

    I do see:

But none of the other bolded headers have an edit option.

So... Is that Answer outdated? Am I blind?

If someone could please click that edit link and tell me the URL I can try and sneak in...

    Any ideas anyone?

EDIT: I found the URL to change it but it won't update. Probably why there isn't a link but pretty bad I can still guess my way in.

    OK here's the answer.

You can't change the account name/password if you get into the accoutn via My Client Centre. You have to separately login with the direct credentials then change the lot in Google Accounts.

Now why did they not mention this anywhere?!!!! :(

Which when you think about it, it makes sense.

If you're managing accounts for several clients, you go in through the MCC. However, you wouldn't expect to be able to have complete control over your client's finances/passwords/etc because that's the perogative of the client.

But like you say, why don't they mention it anywhere!

It indeed sort of makes sense but I can update credit cards etc. so it's not very consistent. Then again, old Google obviously makes it easy to pay...
