i have added hdfc netsafe card sin months ago and verified my paypal account.Now they are asking to update the card.do they charge any thing for updating the card ?

Typically when a credit card expires, the bank will issue you a new one with the same credit card number and the only thing that change is the expiry date and the CVV2 number. If you keep change numbers especially with short expiry date, they might get suspicious. If you add a new number, you may be required to go through the Expander Use Program again where they will deduct $1.95 from your account and add that to your paypal account after.
Well I think you should ignore it since your account verify one and it will remian verify. You know in India now we need CC to add cards. I have VCC verified account since 2006 and experied after 3 months in Jan. 2007 but I have no problem with my accounts and I have no card in my PayPal account.
