Update: Bought Vbulletin, Some Praise, 1 BIG knock

    Took the advice of the majority in my last thread and got vbulletin.


    Okay i love the extensive control options of vbulletin..

    I have one KNOCK against them. You buy the software for $160. You can pay another $130?? I was fine with them having a link on every page of my forum.

    My forum is my homepage, and they ALSO inbedded their "powered by vbulletin" in my HOMEPAGE title. I am VERY MAD about this. I figured that it was just the footer links was their branding, i didn't know they were going to hijack my HOMEPAGE title..

    You can remove the "powered by" on the title , JUST NOT the footer

    You can removed "Powered by vBulletin" by doing this simple modification:
    Please note than you are not allowed to remove "Powered By vBulletin" in the footer

    yeah Dont Remove it or they get mad at you
    (I was a noob and did that and got In trouble but it got settled )
    but the title is fine to change it doesnt break there TOS

    CSS cant find that particular phrase... is it named something else now???

    Yes, there is no live link anywhere in vbulletin, it's just the copyright text in the footer.

    You removed the phrase from FORUMHOME template, is it removed from the rest of the pages too?
