Update across all datacenters?

Hello everyone, using the pagerank tool from seochat, I'm showing that my PR still hasn't been updated on a few datacenters. Sometimes the tool shows that four datacenters havn't picked up the updated PR, then sometimes after a refresh the tool will show that five datacenters still havn't updated.

I'm wondering if anyone else is noticing this kind of activity. Also, I remember someone posted a tool that had the backlink checker and PR checker both in one page. I searched for the tool but couldn't find it, i'd appreciate it if someone can link me.

    Thanks,
    barrow

I agree that this update doesn't seem to be finished yet. This is the longest slowest update I've ever seen. Maybe Google should appeal for donations to purchase some new servers :D

But I sure as hell wish they would get their shit together.

Well, maybe this is them with their 'shit together' ;) keeping webmasters on their toes madly checking PR and backlinks doesn't really hurt them. Arguably, confusing blackhat webmasters with a few yo-yo tactics might actually help distract them enough to pause their spamming efforts :)

I was just saying the same thing on another forum. There are some other unusual aspects of this update, too.

I'm not sure how to interpret it -- either this is a more extensive update than we've seen in a while or Google is tweaking things as they go along. Either way, it's not just another update...

The Backlinks and PR are not the only thing flip-flopping around.

I have recorded the position of the "experiment page" at a few different times during the course of a day and found a few of the datacenters will report big jumps at different times.

Click here to see the table I have been keeping since December 31

So serps are also acting wierd as well.

NOTE: It may be important to add that this page has not been anywhere around position #20 since this last October.
