up6.org - bidding directory - 89$ profit in 16 days

www.up6.org is bidding directory targeting only webdirectories.It is working on www.phplinkbid.com script(25$ licence per url) and it is fully automated.

How does this work: Users can purchase link for 1$ and will be listed automatically. You get email notification that payment has been done. Top 6 links are listed on homepage and send most of pr/traffic to high bidders. There is an admin panel with lot's of options you can change.

Traffic: I started this site 16 days ago and from April 14-April 30 it received 484 unique visitors.

This site is live demo for free template provided by Aviva Directory and it is linked from Aviva blogs:

Site is also listed in all bid directories lists I know about so you see traffic is very targeted.

I started this site like 10 days before update started, so I guess it was too late to catch pr on this update. Anyway, it was also pr0 when sales are made so this doesn't change things a lot.

Yes pr is 0 since site is very new and didn't make it to get pr in this recent update

 

Pr 0 ... why would someone pay 300 bucks for a scrip that costs 25 bucks when the PR is nothing?

 

I am not selling script here. I am selling website with very good domain name(payed 40$ for it 2 years ago+renewed 2 times), that receives constant targeted visitors that pay for listings.
Pr will jump from 0 on next update even if you don't add single link to site. Only reason it is still pr0 is that it started late to catch pr update.

Anyway, I am in no rush to sell it. You are welcome to buy copy of script for 25$ anytime if you think it is the same.

 

Let's lower starting bid to 100$ and see how it goes.

 

What promotion have you done to generate the link sales?

 

Link sales came from people visiting this site from blogs where it is quoted as live demo for free template that is released.
Script is still new and I am sure more and more blogs of this type will start soon. New owner can expect links from all of them as this is one of earliest templates available for this script.
