Unwanted comments

I have been getting tons of unwanted comments (spams) which is adult related. I spend a lot of time moderating these comments in my blog to remove them. My blog is a travel related. How can I stop such comments from coming in?

 

Just use Akismet or Spam Karma. It works for me..

 

Akismet is all that I need. I get maybe one spam comment a week now. It's easy and amazing

All the above PLUS Bad Behaviour. That stops the spam even before Akistmet or SK2 gets to see it.

 

What do you mean by 'PLUS bad behavior'?

I use the 2.3 Release of Spam Karma. Works fine for me.

 

I think,My Blog need it too.

 

After an amazing wave of spammy comments, obviously I had a blog so targeted that I had to get it sorted or give up on it, I installed Akismet. I couldn't get it to work for some reason so looked into Bad Behaviour but then preferred to try Spam Karma.

Spam Karma worked so nicely and easily...

On another one I don't know why but Akismet works just as fine, but it's a recent installation so if I had to make a recommendation based on experience, I would suggest Pam Karma all the way!

Combine Aksimet, Bad Behavior, and Spam Karma plug-ins to take care of most of your spam. The trifecta is like kryptonite for spam!

 

Just to follow up i can confirm what most say, that is Akismet works great too!

I suppose that all three are equally pretty good!
