Unverified account has the limit of $500 for life time. You need to verify your account to uplift the limit.

there is $500 limit for unverified paypal account, and in order to send and receive money through paypal is to verify your account through CC.
I was under the impression that the $500 limit is for withdrawals only. Are you saying unverified accounts cannot RECEIVE money? I don't have a bank account yet that I'm ready to link to PayPal and I don't want their credit card. So I'm on unverified status now. Can I still get payments through it? I was planning to redeem my first $100 as a check.
Their is a limit of $500 sending fee after which you will be not able able to send money. It is better to verify ur account to avoid future issues.
You don't mean a $500 sending "fee" right, but a limit? I'm not going to send money or make purchases with it for now. I intend to verify the account just as soon as I get a dedicated bank account for it. What I'd like to know is if I can receive my first $100 or so without any problem.
I think it depends on the country you live in. and the type of account. its always better to attach a credit card to get those limits off your account.
How about withdrawal to bank account does unverified paypal has limit to it? I am also confused about the matter too. Coz I am planning to make some account for my cousin but mine is verified so I wonder if their is also limit in withdrawal to bank account if you have unverified account?
Better get it verified to make all transactions easy. For receiving money, i think you won't have problem with unverified status.
