I know what you're thinking. "Another OMG, 1 day of high CTR on a low traffic site" thread. It's not. Anyway, one of my proxies, which shall remain nameless, has been running around 13-15% CTR (Will disclose number to remain within TOS), so many times. I wish I could show you an AdSense report, but I cant. Atleast 2x a week though, I get that kind of CTR. This proxy is undevelopped, and only gets about 150-200 visitors a day. This kind of CTR is still staggering, especially for a proxy. It's not MFA, or anything of the sort. I thought it was click-bombing the first few times, but now it happens weekly, so I stopped even bothering to send the reports. I'm not really asking for help, but I'm not really bragging about it either. It's sort of a concern-type of thread. Any questions/comments? I just feel like I want to discuss this.
Don't worry myn hover around that a couple days of the week. Targeted adds which match really well with my content, and great adds placement and colours is a good thing.
I have a site with that kind of CTR. It's been at that CTR for about a year and I haven't had any problems with Adsense.
13-15% is fine for a proxy website. Where there is nothing much to read people click adsense ads. No wonder
Read the 3rd paragraph. As far as I know, it's legitimate. Someone somewhere could be clicking my ads as a "contribution" to me. He doesn't know that he'll get my ass banned. And Google, while fair, dont give a caboose to ban me, just to keep advertisers protected. Well, I'd say targetted, though some keywords have multiple meanings, which ads a nice amount of very appealing looking ads. Thanks to you both, but proxies, and I am more experienced than a large deal of people, as they are my main income source at the moment, shouldn't really get this type of CTR. It's strange, but I think I'm starting to see why.
