Unusually high $1.74 per click on adsense, any one getting this?

    This morning I woke up, sign into my adsense account and seeing 1.74 for one click, this is unbelievable. Is anyone else getting this?

    Sometime that will happen its normal, but wouldve been better if it stayed like that!

    Its typical in the highly competitive niches.

    You probably got a click to an insurance, attorney or web hosting site. Clicks on those , usually average $1 - $3

    Yes niche matters a lot but not always, i Have a site with diverse click rate from $0.01 to $2.43 . Origin of click traffic also matters a lot.

    It is possible, the CPC is depend on the ads or saying depend on your niche/keyword
