Unusual Jump in Impressions

    Hey there,

    I don't really use alot of Adsense on my sites, but I have one on a hobby site and I get about 100 impressions per day. Today when I checked, it's at 550 impressions but 0 clicks. WTF?

    Well it could happen. Just review back the ad placement or ensure that relevant ads show up at your site. Both are the most likely cause that you are getting zero clicks.

    Is there any increase in visitors? Check your traffic tracking stats if you use any.

    That's the interesting part--there isn't. My visitors level has remained the same, and yet google (which usually under reports by a great deal) has jumped above my actual UVs...

    yep, robots that Adsense doesn't recognize and filter from the pagehits.

    I got hit with about 80,000 hits in one day- no clicks. My site was probably unusable during that day.

    it just happens. Make your ads bigger and blend them in with your site's color.

    you gotta use robots.txt sensible to avoid these sorts of unusual impressions
