you site has only videos, no text content. i see 68 backlinks for you and see that your targated keyword returns 678k search results in google so you have some good competition there. i suggest you add some texts in your site with your keyword along with updating your title tag and adding meta tags for description and keyword

Don't agree to that unrelated links do not help you for SERPs. If you are looking to get good ranks try to get more4 related links with your main keyword as the text for those keywords. Unrelated links may help you to get some PR but as far as the SERPs are concerned they don't contribute much (nearly neglible). Try to submit your site to directories in your related category, do article marketing, comment on blogs related to your niche with backlinks to your, exchange links with similar sites. Yes definiyely get some related ones...I've heard stories of links being dropped or not counted because they are unrelated. Never experienced it myself though.
If the SERPs are concerned I think both are the same and have an equal value both won't affect your SERPs much.
