If you go to the home page of my new website Sports Car Domain (in my sig) you will see that the ad unit to the right shows unrealted ads to the site. It shows ads for my weight lifting site. Now both sites are on the same server but the car site is in a different folder. Will my ads change when the new site gets crawled? or will I have to get a seperate server?

It'll change once a crawl has been done. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Or use the AdSense Sandbox here at DP. I had the same issue on my article site while the Sandbox showed the correct ads. Once my visitor count got better (it was a new site) the ads corrected and were the same ones as in the sandbox.

    Good Luck!

I don't know... weightlifting and sportscars might be related...

Are you getting ads for hairdressers that do mullets, muscle shirts, and tattoos? :p

heh, not exactly. I've used the Adsense Sandbox here and it shows much much better ads. So I guess I'm waiting for a crawl. It is just weird how that happens :D

That will happen sometimes if you use an existing site as a template to start a new one. Sometimes it takes a day or so to show relevent ads after itr get scrawled again. Don't worry!

i experienced unrelated ads once when doing url forwarding from one domain to a subdomain of another wed address. i never figured out exactly why it occurred but it certainly convinced me to stop url forwarding.

    cheers :)
