I placed adsense for content on my site hosted by Interland at http://www.mikestiles.com/stilesfiles. I posted a daily blog here for the better part of 2009 but the ads never related to the content, and despite the fact Interland's stats show thousands of page visits, adsense shows me a grand total of 2. What should I check?
Whoa! Don't ever edit the script - the idiot who suggested this obviously has never read the Google adsense TOC's which strictly prohibit you from editing the script. Edit it today by all means, but you will probably banned within hours. The reason why the adsense seems unrelated is due to your keyword density. Whilst you have a lot of good content, your keyword range is way too diversified for adsense to feed your site relevant ads. Up the keyword density per article - this will begin to pull up relevant adsense ads. I would be 100% certain that this is what the problem is. The content is simply too diverse for adsense to work in your favour. If you do this and it doesn't work then increase it again until it does. This will apply to every article you put up on your site. Hope this helps Dickie
I think you must work on the content of your site, its very important then you can find relevant ads shown in your website. For that purpose check your META tags and Headings inside in the content. Make sure that your important Keywords are BOLD or Underlined and improve their keyword density to 3+. I think following these steps will make your site showing relevant ad, it may be possible your site is new and that's Adsense not showing relevant ads. Agreed with @adsenseplr in this regard. Thanks
