    Unregistered Domain with PR6 link from EDU pointing to it...


    What value does this have?

    Would it have any SEO value if I registered it..... Put up and article with in content links to my site?

    or

    Register the domain name and forward to to mine?

    if all true, yes then it should have some value.

    some people are looking for these type of domain only to resell them with profit.

    It would have some value for a while, but you would need to continue building links and try to reverse engineer an article to relate to the .edu site to make the .edu link meaningful.

    It has about the same value as a PR6 unregistered domain with a .COM site linking to it. There is no inherent "bonus" ranking value of a link from a .EDU domain.
