    Ad blindness. And I noticed on your first few pages you were getting PSA's.

    blend the ads in a bit more, black border and background with white title and grey text should look nice, or get them to match your forums colors.

    and additionally, forums are known to not be that 'great' of revenue generators. People are there to talk, not click the ads really. But yes, I also agree, try to blend them in more. They are really 'in your face' rather than just there as a side thing.

    PSA -> Public Service Ad
    ad blindness -> visitor just does not see your ad even it's right in the middle

    And about your CTR - it's a forum. Forums just do not generate much revenue, just like fsmedia said. And I didn't understand what the content was about, so maybe Googles Mediabot doesn't understand it either.

    Yes i agree with just-4-teens, and on your homepage you got psa's because the whole webpage are images.

    Actually i think forums are just about the only place where blended ads seem to get less CTs than ads which stand out. Im sure its something to do with return users automatically ignoring the ads, where as if you continually rotate the ad colours they seem to get more clicks. Your ultimate goal as with all advertising schemes should be to cut out the middleman and deal directly with the advertisers.

    Your forum dicusses music so im sure there must be some record companies looking for advertising. Note the type of ads being server by google and you should get an idea of who your potential advertisers will be. Also you could set up as an itunes affiliate, providing download links to the music tracks being discussed.

    Ahh I didn't see that good catch.

    --To Leriss--
    Ya why would you have images with something you could easily do with text? It's not like the fonts in the images are anything special and can be generated thru HTML.
