    Hey,

Thought that maybe we can keep FaceBook PPC discussion in this thread. Seems that we have yet to have a separate section for it. Anyhow, let's help each other in concurring FaceBook PPC. Many of you should know that FaceBook launched it's own PPC about a year ago, and it has become extremely profitable to many affiliates. Since you can get cheap traffic, easier to find products for audience, and it's much easier to run campaigns on, then Adword.

A few things I would like to recommend:

    1) The CTR directly affects your average CPC. Nothing else affects it. Doesn't matter how well put together your landing page is, or how natural your landing page looks. If you are capable of sustaining a high CTR; then your bids will be much lower. A brief visual of what you should expect to be bidding for different CTR rates:
    0.01% - 0.04%: 0.40 CPC
    0.05% - 0.10%: 0.30 CPC
    0.11% - 0.29%: 0.25 CPC
    0.30% - 0.99%: 0.15 CPC
    1.00% +: 0.05 -0.10 CPC

    2) The longer you maintain your good CTR, the better your CPC rates will become.

    3) Every day, create a new AD for the same campaign. The new AD could almost be a replica of the ones you have already. This is a good thing to do since all new AD's receive a big giant impression boost in the first few hours. If your capable of maintaining a high CTR during the boost, then your CPC will be low for that AD.

    4) When submitting your AD's for approval, try to send them only during business days. Since otherwise, the crew on the weekends likes to deny many AD's.

    5)
Whenever your impressions start to dry up, then change your max bid to 0.50 cents until you start receiving impressions once again. Then you may drop it again.

    Regards,
    Martin

Heres a good trick if you're promoting dating on Facebook.

Facebook doesn't like dating offers that are "adult" themed, or are too "sexy". Unfortunately, those are the highest converting dating offers.

In order to get ads approved, make a dating ad with a destination URL of a domain you own (for instance, findadatenow.com), and then have that domain redirect to a "clean" dating offer.

Once the ad gets reviewed and hopefully approved, you can then reroute your forwarding domain to the more "adult" themed dating offer.

Facebook manually reviews ads once in a great while, so it may get deleted eventually. But hopefully after you make a significant profit!

Thank you for contributing "Scar". I personally use the exact tactic you wrote about. Works really well.

Some more things I would like to add:

    6) The more times your AD gets rejected, the higher the suggested bid will be for every following AD.

    7) Most of the time, if you select more targeted options. Such as only advertise to females, and ones that are only single; then your CPC will go down. What you can do is create multiple AD's of the same exact AD; just make sure to that each AD will again be using the targeting options. With about 8 AD's for same offer; you should be able to target most of the audience; while you'll be getting less CPC, but still getting same traffic overall.
