Unnwinnable wars and real terrorists

The US and its NATO allies are bogged down in both Afghanistan and Iraq. Both wars are unwinnable.
The so-called global ' war on terror' (GWOT) has turned into a war of terror. The US and its allies are slaughtering innocent women and children in their pursuit of a secret agenda - the control of oil and gas fields.
"We continue to live in a world where double standards are the rule not the exception.Major powers continue to protect their clients and allies regardless of their criminal records.Values like the rule of law are loudly proclaimed, but quietly disregarded when they clash with political or business interests" says Carla Del Ponti, one of the judges at the International Tribunal at the Hague. Freedom and democracy for an occupied country are just a fig leaf for immoral and illegal wars.We know that the US has nothing but contempt for democracy. They are backing and propping up corrupt, repressive and authoritarian rulers in the Middle East and other places because they serve US interests.Hamas won in a free and fair election held in occupied Palestine. But the US, Israel and the EU refused to recognise the results. The Palestinians are being punished for not voting in US puppets or the so-called moderates i.e. those who are obedient to the US.The US was attacked not because the terrorists hate their freedoms or the American people but because of unjust US government policies. There are some people who believe that the attack on the Twin Towers in New York was a US government false-flag operation to galvanise the Americans in the so-called war on terror. Some countries Muslim included, do practise double standards but unlike the US they do not lecture others on human rights and democracy. That would be the pot calling the kettle black.
The US has plans to use Afghanistan as a transit for oil and gas pipelines from Central Asia.Military bases and a huge embassy have been built in Iraq. All these indicate a permanent occupation of the country.
Now a majority of Americans know that they had been lied into a war that the US cannot and will not win. When you invade a country on whatever pretexts, you must expect resistance. No self-respecting people will allow a foreign power to rule over them. The Afghans and the Iraqis are a proud people.Don't shift the blame on Al-Qaeda,the Iranians or Taleban when you fail to subdue a country.
I would ask the US to put themselves in the shoes of the Afghans or the Iraqis. Will the US accept rule by another power say the Russians? Didn't they fight for independence from Britain?
Labels used by the US and Israel are misleading. When the Afghans were resisting the Soviet occupation of their country, the Americans did not have any objections when they called themselves 'mujahideens' or freedom fighters. This wasn't a problem because they were on the side of the US who were providing them with arms. Now the Iraqi and Afghans fighters are called terrorists or insurgents because they are fighting the US. Similarly the Palestinians who are under a brutal Israeli occupation for more than 40 years are branded as terrorists just for resisting.
So who are the real terrorists?

Do you still really believe this war is about oil? Why am I paying so much at the pump everyday if we are bringing all the oil over? You know that we have had security and control of many of the oil derricks over there right? This war has relatively nothing to do with oil and is an old and thoughtless opinion that originated at the beginning of the war in Iraq.

I agree though, we do need a more thoughtful exit strategy and it is a mess over there right now.
