My forum keeps crashing and I know I have a lot of files on my server. The thing is, I'm not really sure which files are needed and which ones aren't. Can anyone tell me which ones are okay to get rid of? My files: 1 | 2
i assume you are using cpanel, cpanel creates these folders and files for backing up your mysql databases and email etc. i wouldnt recommend you delete any off these. but you could delete the database backup's in theyre no longers needed
If your forum is crashing then it might be due to mysql overload or some thing else that might be wrong with your host or your forum script. Do you get any errors and have your tried contacting your host?
While trying to go to my site an error page appears. It says that the server is overloaded. I get it A LOT. I've tried contacting my host and they say to upgrade to a VPS. My forum is small though.
