Hi there, im currently looking for decent hosting, unmetered space and bandwidth... but nothing too costly. Hosting must also allow adult orientated material. Any ideas?
What type of content are you going to publish if it has SLA rules of copyright dupe materials you would suffer problems on hostgator and lunarpages.
Its is likely to have dupe materials as im hoping to get a small community for adult image and video sharing. are HostICan, Lunarpages, and HostGator unmetered bandwidth and space tho?
HostICan's Tera-Host plan is "unmetered" but there really is no such thing as unlimited. You might want to consider a VPS or dedicated.

"unmetered" and "unlimited" is bad , don't trust such words ! is like you are saying you will never die : Unmetered : - bandwidth not counted until the limit , can be 5GB, can be 100GB but is unmetered until you reach 5GB, 100GB or the limit fixed Unlimited : - bandwidth is unlimited but in practice isn't because the CPU is limited, they will not say it directly, the CPU will stop you , so if you have a website with good traffic using in 10 days , 50 GB but in 1-3 days a lot of visitors come to your site you are out using only those 50GB because your CPU was .... 2 % . So think twice and choose right there is no unmetered , unlimited bandwidth is only a marketing strategy how i said Don't believe them because are not stupid to give their entire dedicated server resources only to you, a good dedicated server is over 150$ / month with around 2.000 GB bandwidth , so don't be naive to think they take it for 150$ / month to give their entire resources to you for 6 $ / month...
there is nothing Unmetered , and those hosts who claim to to offer this will sooner and later suspend your account when you many visitors
