Unmanaged server first steps info

    Hi

    I just get a unmanaged dedicated server with direct admin panel and i need some help to set it up from the begining.

    Can anyone provide me tha basic steps for my forum?

    I will need to setup my domain and nameservers ?

    why dont you get a manage service and ask them what they have done ? You wil learn during the process.

    Really, getting an unmanaged server and you dont know the basics might be a steep learning curve for you.

    From my experience, the best of the cheap 3rd management companies is webbycart ($35/month).
