Looking forward to your solution.

Try the things mentioned here:

(it is a long read, so you might have to skim through the uninteresting discussion)

Thanks logylaps.

Any luck with it then?

I doubt it can be done for real, but please share your experience with us.

Not possible i guess.

I tried many freebie softwares but none work, so i came up with Advanced RAR Password Recovery software.
Its incredible, uses brute force, takes some time scanning all the numbers, alphabets, etc. etc. which could be the password and in few minutes it breaks opens the file.
Very cool i must say.

It can be unlocked using brute force, but it takes alot of time and sometime it cannot retrieve the password.

i would guess it all depends on how hard the pw is.

search on google. .rar password cracker!

May be, hard and crooked passwords takes lot of time, but in my case i was able to unlock in about 3 mins time.

it can be done. i remember having a program once that would do it for you. try searching something on google.

good to know that your problem was finally solved!!

i think this program can be useful it's from download.com
