    Hostmonster is more popular than Fastdomain, but Fastdomain is cheaper :)

    can i have demo/test account for 1 hour ? You can find a "Demo Login" entrance at the index page which you can login to the cPanel and try everything before sign up.
    do you allow torrent/adult/proxy ? All are NOT allowed, sorry :)

    Yes, it's difficult for small hosting providers/resellers to offer these Unlimited features and they are less likely to keep their promises. But it's not true for a big web hosting company like Hostmonster, you can try and see if they can keep their promise or not, anyway, you can quit and get a full refund if they not allow u to upload and say "Our Server is Full" :)
