Well really for the client there is no such tool yet. CPU usage usually comes from something putting a lot of usage on the MySQL at one time, like 1000's of sign ups, or however you have your MySQL configured. Most people don't go over the CPU usage limit.

Yours site will possibly be suspended. Just because it may crash the server or give an overload.

Well once you do get suspended you will have a second chance to prevent it from happening again. Your being told of it now, as well in the TOS, so it is mentioned

It's just to help prevent system crashes, and stop downtimes and etc..

 

I was thinking about doing a social networking site. Will it use less than 10% CPU?

 

I can't really tell you what your site will use, CPU usage is usually when a site is getting thousands or millions of people browsing the site at once, and then that overloads the server. CPU usage can be caused by many things, but a social network shouldn't be to much of a big deal.

If your social network becomes like MySpace, then yea, you'll probably need a server that can handle that load of visitors at once. But to start out, you should be just fine.

 

There are a few things i would like to ask.

What is the download rate for the servers?
What is the upload rate for the serveers?
May i host videos for my anime site here (the non-copy written ones) then remove them when they are bought by a company in the USA?
Can i allow file uploads.
If needed i will link the files by ftp
