Just purchased some space, looks very promising thanks a lot for this oppurtunity

One thing though, in the registration process the password form was just an input form, not very secure I'd say?

 

Would think dont put the password you want to use put in a temp password and email. Once you get your account change the password and email in cPanel. avoids issues with the non secure sign-up sheet

 

Yes it is unlimited "addon domains", but that is the "Deluxe" plan which cost $20.00/ per year.

Both plans come with unlimited subdomains.

People really need to stop referring to "unlimited" space and bandwidth. There is no such thing. If you're going to oversell, at least set some limits.

Would you be running a SAN setup at LayeredTech, or is this a standard server setup?

 

Or servers are located all over the USA and Canada. We do not put a cap on our bandwidth, therefore we can offer unlimited bandwidth. As for the space, you can simply buy more space as needed. It's fairly a simple process, and not as unbelievable as some may think.

Ok, I have a few comments. The site could do with some better support. I purchased the webspace yesterday, and I didn't know where I stood until about 3 hours later I recieved an email with the subject 'Welcome to HastyHost', but no email body?

I've logged in an apparently my account is active, but I still can't access the site via ftp or http. I have checked many times to see if the live assisant is online, but each time it is offline. And in the support part of the site (which was pretty hard to navigate to), I try to register but despite trying atleast 10 times it is convinced I am entering the wrong validation code.

I can't complain, because obviously for 10$ a year there is nothing to complain about. I would just like some better support and assisance to atleast know the status of my account and where I stand.

 

Please let me know the domain you signed up with, and I'll see what the problem is. Also, if you havn't changed your nameservers to the following: ns1.hastyhost.com & ns2.hastyhost.com you will not be able to access your at all. Once you do, it can take 24-78 hours before you can do anything with your account.

As for the support, we try to reply at least 24 hours from when the support ticket is given. I also give my MSN, AIM, and Yahoo ID here for additional support. We also have a contact form on the site for non members to contact us. So we do try to allow many ways to get in touch with us. Some things on the site aren't fully functional like the 24/7 support, but in the process.

I hope you're mysql loading speed is good. the hsot i've moving from is so awfully slow.

okay ran into a problem. I was going through the signup process, when suddendly i got a whitepage. Nothing else would load so i tried to refresh etc, but then it took me back to the form, which then said my email was currently being used (from the first attempt)

Delete the email for me. I'll use another email address to sign up right now, and hopefully i can update my email later on to be the @inbox one

the white page was probably my fault. Firefox seems to do that randomly with some scripts.

Anyways everything is set up already. I got my account details in less then a hour, now im logged in uploading my sites
