Does big company like hostgator will do something to your account when your sites reach very high traffic?
I'm asking because I know at least 2 sites with alexa rank of 10 000 (more than 50K UV per day) are hosted in godaddy share hosting account without any problem.

    pls share your experience

They will suspend you hosting account if you websites are over-consuming the CPU resources.
If your site has too many visitors, then go for VPS or Dedicated Servers

I have read many bad comments about Godaddy hosting at webhosting talk forum. So, I would say, hostgator is better option than Godaddy.

If the site is build is simple html, then 50K UV per day should not be problem on shared hosting. If the site is using heavy php scripts, then it can be problem.

see it depends a static site will use very less resources but dynamic sites may take more resources

I'm sure it's on share hosting, and it's the news website (at least 20 new articles per day).

I second that. You should see what "Your" site is, dynamic or static then look for better hosting.

I have a wordpress site receiving 2000 visitors daily on shared hosting, I got email from my host that my site is using much resources then I installed some cache plugins and remove unwanted scripts, now my host does not have any problem.

You should work on your site too instead of just relying on hosting companies that they will afford the high traffic load.

As far I know all hosting companies follows some rules, and provide some limited resources for share hosting. So ask them it would be better, secondly if its dynamic sites then you may require more resource then you should go with dedicated hosting

Nope, because Godaddy has strict concurrent connection limits that you will only find when you search their FAQs for details on why you site starts showing error messages - you won't find them listed in their Terms or AUP. The fact that you haven't reached them yet doesn't mean you won't.

Who would I rather deal with? A company that shows what limitations apply within the Terms/AUP and is upfront about them or one that hides the limits in FAQs that you would only look at once you had a problem? I know what my choice would be.
