I'm actually surprised no one has submitted this to http://bugs.php.net if it's been such a well known issue.

How can anybody show you ONE result? Google shows 10 per page as a default.

How can Google penalize a site for links from INCOMING sites? You would be able to get Wikipedia baned if that as possible!

7 spots available, Move it or lose it

This technique is worthless... proof of that: the OP's website is PR0 :)

I mean seriously man, if this technique doesn't improve your PR, nor brings you Traffic, what is it good for? Maybe 5 years ago this technique would have been a great SEO trick, but today Google checks all the content of the page and if it finds no relevancy with your link, it will give you NO value for that link. Period.

Google is NOT stupid... unfortunately ;)

Think about it... if this technique (and some others that I know) could cause a penalty or a ban, I would use it to generate links to my competition and get them delisted from Google!

TheCrabb, how come your site is PR0 if this technique was so extraordinary for SEO?

I don't know how effective this is but perhaps it may work for some. Sounds like a big loophole that will be discovered eventually.

Ok, it seems like many people don't catch the ideea.

Please show me a search query returning a page of this type cached in google with your link. If you show me one page cached with your link there i might consider purchasing. *Maybe*

No offense to the poster, but this does nothing for anyone. If the page is not linked anywhere on the internet, then googles spiders will not be able to find said link. Not only that but I HIGHLY doubt google wouldn't already block such useless pages.
