Basically, I have a script that will create a page for any term after the URL. Say this:

    http://myurl.com/almondj.html
    http://myurl.com/keywords.html
    http://myurl.com/I-believe-Search-Engine-Optimization-is-the-BEST-section-for-this-topic.html
    http://myurl.com/12341234512549809834102478918234812743812742.html

So basically ANYTHING, I could have millions of indexed pages so to speak. However would it really do anything? If I SEO'd and got some back links? I'm looking mostly for search engine traffic and the site is pretty MFA.

The ROI on such a scheme would be so low that it wouldn't even be worth bothering to attempt. If you're going to make an MFA site, at least try to make it useful to people so you can enjoy the best of both worlds.

ROI = return on investment? The only investment would be time.

In that case, look at how much time you'd be spending doing this, multiply that by your hourly rate (if you have one), and then ask if that's going to be enough to cover what your conversions would bring you in the same time period per day. If the answer is no, then the ROI (return on investment) would be too low. If you get banned from the search engines, then the answer is no. If you can find another strategy that will make you more money, then the answer is no.

Also the problem is the more pages you go creating, the more links you need to index and 'float" all these pages in the SERP's.

Chances are 1/1000th of the site will be indexed and be out of the supplemental results, and that's being optimistic. People won't naturally link to rubbish, which means you need to either spend a lot of time or money obtaining links. So you are better off making 100 "good" hand crafted pages than a million generated ones.

Believe me, i've got legit forums and such with over 4 Million pages and you need a lot of links to index the site "and" make these pages rank well for traffic terms.
