    Hi Guys,

I have read through the posts to tackle the not provided list of keywords but unfortunately none were able to convince me..

Can anyone suggest in real time if it really works or do we have to go for ppc to see the not provided keywords?

Not Provided keywords are hidden because the user in question elected to keep their private data private from 3rd parties. That means you. Google still knows what they used to find you, but they didn't want anyone else to know. With more and more users using incognito browsers you will see less and less keywords data.

PPC (Adwords) data is equally unclear about things. It will only show you the keywords they used to get to you from paid searched. So if they clicked on your AD on top of the actual searched (organic searches), or to the right of them, you will see THAT data... You still will NOT see the organic searches. So this would be pointless if you set up Adwords PPC campaigns for the keywords:
    blue widgets
    red widgets
    yellow widgets

... and then the user came in and searched for Cheap Places To Buy Batteries Online. It didn't contain blue, red, yellow or widgets... Therefore it doesn't show up in your keywords. So you just spend money on PPC and still didn't get any data on important keywords you might want to target outside of your current campaigns.

There is no perfect method to get this kind of data.

If you have read the same posts, where you manipulate the code a little to track based on the approximation / probability of the title, keywords and already available data, then that doesn't work very well for me at least.

The best way to track this sort of thing is through your server logs. They will also be the most complete as far as total hits counted since they are run from hard data already on your server.
