unknown problem with my domain

    i have a strange problem with my domain

    when i type xxxxx.com my site will open but when i type www.xxxx.com

    i will get a page not found error .

    what to do ?

    ...or dns propagation. If you have just set up your dns, wait for a few days.

    That's what I was thinking. I noticed some providers create that as a CNAME
    (Canonical Name) Record instead, but...I guess that works for them better.

    It might be a tad technical for you, dhatric, but the www.domain part needs
    to be created either as an A (Address) record or CNAME. Whoever's DNS you
    are using is the one you contact to help create and point to where you want
    it to.
