I registered a domain name but haven't hosted a site there yet. But when I open my domain I see something like a search page with links to some other pages. What the f.. is that? Is it normal?

It is referred to as a parked page. It is nothing to worry about until you are ready to upload your site, blog, CMS, or whatever you have planned for your domain.

    Almost every host does that.
I'm sure it earns them a few cents.
A lot of expired domains do the same thing.
It's probably something automatic set up by the host of the domain.
Type in traffic and people searching for domains my just stumble in.
And that page looks better(?) than a "not found" message.

And think about this. You fully admit you opened the domain, right?
    Before doing anything?
    They gotcha too!

Godaddy and some other registrars display a default links page after registration if you didn't setup nameservers during the process.

If you already hosted the site somewhere but not content is uploaded, it might me the hosting service default page.

Posting your URL would help us to clarify what's going on in there
