For work I was told to make an add-on for a poorly designed website (by that I mean overkill). lol, well, I'm trying to make a graphic link that matches the other graphic links but I don't have the font it uses and me nor my boss even has that font. So could somebody tell me what font it is? Here's an example link http://www.walmanphotography.com/images/navWed1.gif
don't know what the font is... the W is unique on it. However, in my experience, I've encountered similar situations especially when taking over for someone else's shotty design, and found it easier to simply re-do ALL the text links with a font I do already have. This works if you just have a few to do... but could be a pain if the text in the unknown font is ubiquitous on your site (used my big word for the day ). Just choose one similar enough to fool the layperson, and quietly re-do all of them I'd much rather do this than to try to match a font with something else.... One other trick i do sometimes is to patch together the word from little bits and pieces of other words... i.e. if you're doing "Design" you could get each of the letters from the graphic you linked to by c/p'ing the pixels around the letters and carefully arranging them in photoshop. i've done this more than i care to admit. hehe HTH, VG
Sorry I had to put a space after the // because i have less than 10 posts (no live links allowed for people w/under 10)
