I placed the above thread in the "Google" forum, and a moderator gave me an undeserved infraction for placing it in the "wrong category." Am I missing something here? How is a post about a Google matter inserted in the GOOGLE forum deserving of an infraction? if he/she wanted to move it, fine. But give me an infraction? No way is that fair or justified.

EDIT: Somebody please delete the thread. I can't.

I would just delete this thread. It is infraction worthy to start a post just to ask a question about an infraction.

As for why, you probably got an infraction, I would guess for ignoring this:

    " Google (138 Viewing)
THE search engine. This is for discussion about Google as a company, not for discussion of individual sites (SEO, PageRank for a site or "why a site ranks where it does" questions) or Google search results."

Also, looking at that thread you have multiple posts when you could have just edited an earlier one. You are likely to get another infraction for bumping your own threads. Try to merge your extra posts. A lot of little rules, but they make the site as a whole operate much more smoothly.

Are you serious? I can't ask a question in the FEEDACK forum, either? I guess this is just a police state.

Whatever, somebody please delete the thread. I can't.

I wouldn't worry about infractions to much and it looks like browntwn explained why you got it.

    cheers

    No actually Infractions are infractions,

There is no debate or discussion either...

You also will another infraction for starting an infraction thread....
