Received a negative iTrader from a user that has NEVER done business with me, and was actually banned for multiple user names, foul language, disrupting threads (it only took a few hours LOL) This is a link:

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/itrader.php?u=296921
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/member.php?u=312228 (user information)

As you can see, the user was not even active on DP for more than 24 hours, in actuality, he happened to abuse me via PM and on my threads (which were reported.) What should I do about the removal of the iTrader? My concerns and why it should be removed:

    (1) The user is banned now (and was on DP for less than 24 hours)
    (2) No transaction occurred, clearly evident
    (3) This was a personal attack, by the same user with multiple names

Not even asking to bend the rules -- it says CLEARLY in the Sticky that a user that leaves an iTrader without conducting business will be banned. I think removal of iTrader point (whether, positive or negative) should be accompanied.

Just food for thought if ITrader IS completely unmoderated, someone could completely damage someone else's iTrader who they hate, simply by creating 50 usernames, placing negative iTrader's, and getting themselves banned. Doesn't seem fair or logical to me. Any suggestions, or any Mods could look into this? Just think about that scenario ... I know this is ONE negative comment, but think about that circumstance. It could have been worse, and it is a very likely scenario for people with the agenda to ruin someone..

    Thanks in advance.

Only the admin's can remove it.

But, 1 bad itrader wont do any harm until it is removed.

As it's been said dozens of times (please search before creating duplicate complaints, and take personal issues to moderators privately), iTrader is an unmoderated area.

Abusers are dealt with, but the fact that someone is banned does not by itself mean iTraders should be removed (people get banned for a lot of things here, and they're not all permanent). Moderators cannot remove things just because one person involved, who isn't happy with the review, says no deal took place. If anything, the fact that you admit you didn't actually own one of the licenses yet involved in what you were selling makes me incredibly unsympathetic. If you don't own something yet (using the trial, and just saying you'll later buy), then it shouldn't be involved in what you're selling here.
