Hi everyone, I'm a student currently at University of Hawaii at Manoa. I'm looking to market my club, Financial Management Association, to the general public in my university and boost overall membership rates. I'm also looking for fundraising ideas to boost profits. I've been dabbling into QR codes, designing a better website, even making a better logo. I'm really new to marketing and I would love any suggestions given to me. What I really want is to start with small projects, things that will contribute to success in the long run and build my way up to bigger more effective marketing strategies. First think about what is the most interesting part of your club. Take that and figure out how to make it fun and interesting for people that would otherwise not understand why you are so passionate about it. Once you have that, I would utilize fliers with rip off tabs, chalk writings/drawings on campus sidewalks and use your Facebook fan page to promote (not spam, write relevant comments and provide a link to your clubs site/fanpage) on other fan pages related to your club... I just had a brain fart, so I can't think of what else would work. Hope that helps in some way.
